Graflio vs Pixelcut

The short answer

Pixelcut is the price and speed leader: a free tier, Pro at $10 a month or $8 billed annually for 600 credits, unlimited background removal, and iOS and Android apps that let you shoot and list from a phone. Graflio costs more per month and does one narrower thing better: it starts from an ASIN, reads the listing and its reviews, and returns a layered file you can edit. If your problem is cutting out photos at volume, Pixelcut wins. If your problem is deciding what six images should argue, it does not address that at all.

Pixelcut costs $8 a month billed annually and Graflio does not, so if the comparison were only about price this page would be one line. It is not. Pixelcut is a photo tool that happens to be used for Amazon; Graflio is an Amazon listing system that happens to render images. Below is the honest split, including the three things Pixelcut does better than we ever will, and the one architectural difference that decides most of the rest. This is our own comparison, so weigh the Graflio column accordingly.

The published prices, August 2026

Pixelcut has a free tier: limited background removal, limited upscaling, watermark-free export, and 300 daily credits for generative fill, expand, AI backgrounds and pro eraser. Pro is $10 a month, or $8 billed annually, for 600 AI credits, unlimited background removal and upscaling, access to all AI models, a three-person team, 1,000 batch exports a month and a commercial licence. Business is $30 a month, or $24 annually, for 3,600 credits, ten seats and 2,000 batch exports.

Graflio gives every account €10 of credits with no card. Research on a listing costs 0.1 credit; a finished image costs one to three credits depending on the model, so a seven-image set is roughly 14 credits. Plans are €49.99, €199.99 and €499.99 a month for 150, 875 and 2,850 credits.

One thing worth clearing up before you read old reviews: Pixelcut renamed itself Pixa during 2026 and then reverted, with accounts, subscriptions, projects and credits carried over. pixa.com redirects to pixelcut.ai. Articles using either name are describing the same product.

The architectural difference

Pixelcut starts from a photograph. You upload or shoot one, then remove the background, replace it, erase an object, expand the frame, upscale, add a shadow. Its published tool index in August 2026 lists background removal, magic eraser, generative fill, uncrop, AI image and video generation, bulk editing, retouching, virtual try-on and an AI ads workflow. It does not list an infographic tool or any Amazon-specific tool, and it has no ASIN or listing-URL import. Third-party reviews describe marketplace-sized templates inside the editor; Pixelcut's own tool index does not name them, so treat template counts you read elsewhere with care.

Graflio starts from a listing. You paste an ASIN or a URL, and before any pixels exist the tool reads the title, bullets, price, rating, reviews and gallery, pulls the category best sellers, and produces a brief: pain points tagged by whether they came from your reviews or a competitor's, plus an image plan. Then it renders, and every image opens as layers where headlines are text objects and callouts are anchored to coordinates on the real product photo.

That difference explains most of the table below. Pixelcut answers "make this photo better". Graflio answers "decide what these six images should say".

Where Graflio wins

  • URL import. Nothing else in the category takes an ASIN and researches it before designing.
  • Layered output. A price change, a legal rewording or a fourth marketplace language is a text edit.
  • Pixel-anchored callouts, so a line still points at the port after you move the headline.
  • A brand kit that holds a palette, type and logo across a whole set and across SKUs.
  • Amazon compliance checks before upload: resolution, white background, frame fill, text on the main image.

Where Pixelcut wins

  • Price, and not marginally. $8 a month annually against €49.99 is a different budget line.
  • Mobile. Real iOS and Android apps mean you can shoot, cut out and export on a phone in a warehouse.
  • Speed to a first image. No research pass, no listing needed, so seconds rather than a couple of minutes.
  • Volume background removal, which is unlimited on Pro and is the single most common seller task.
  • Range beyond Amazon: video, ads creative, social formats, virtual try-on. We do listing images and stop.
  • A genuinely usable free tier, with 300 daily credits for the generative tools.

When Pixelcut is the right answer

Buy Pixelcut, not us, if your work is mostly photo preparation: hundreds of cutouts, clean white backgrounds, shadows, upscales, and consistent crops. At $8 a month with unlimited background removal, nothing beats the per-image economics, and the mobile app removes an entire desktop step from the workflow.

Buy Pixelcut also if you sell across channels. Video, ad creative and social formats are inside the subscription, and a seller who needs a TikTok cut and a Meta ad as well as a listing gallery is better served by a general tool than by two specialised ones.

And buy Pixelcut if your copy is already decided. If you know exactly what each image says because a designer, an agency or your own experience settled it, you are paying us for a research step you do not need.

When Graflio is the right answer

When the hard part is not rendering but deciding. Most stalled image projects are stalled because nobody knows what image four should argue, and a blank prompt box does not help with that. Graflio's research pass is the product; the rendering is downstream of it.

And when you expect to edit. Flat output is fine until the first change, then it is a re-purchase. If you sell across amazon.es, .de and .fr, or you are in a category where claims get rewritten, layers are the difference between an afternoon and a redo.

The one-minute decision

Do you know what each image should say? If yes, take the cheap renderer. If no, that gap is the thing worth paying to close. How often will you edit? Once or twice, anything works; more than that, avoid flat output. Is Amazon your only channel? If not, budget for a general tool such as Pixelcut regardless of what else you pick, because we will not cover your video or your ads.

Common questions

How much does Pixelcut cost in 2026?

Free tier with limits and 300 daily credits for the generative tools; Pro at $10 a month or $8 billed annually for 600 credits, unlimited background removal, three seats and 1,000 batch exports; Business at $30 or $24 annually for 3,600 credits, ten seats and 2,000 batch exports.

Can Pixelcut import an Amazon listing?

No. It works from a photo, and its published tool index in August 2026 lists no ASIN or URL import and no Amazon-specific tool.

Which is cheaper?

Pixelcut, on any headline comparison. Graflio only comes out lower when you count cost per finished image actually uploaded, because billing is per action rather than per seat.

Is Pixelcut still called Pixa?

No. It renamed to Pixa in 2026 and reverted to Pixelcut, keeping accounts, subscriptions, projects and credits. pixa.com redirects to pixelcut.ai.

Can I use both?

Yes, and it is a sensible pairing. Pixelcut for photo preparation, especially from a phone; Graflio for the researched gallery built on top of the cleaned photograph.
