Jungle Scout Alternative for Listing Images
Jungle Scout does not make listing images. Its Listing Builder is text: AI Assist writes the title, description and key features from your Keyword Bank, and the Listing Optimization Score grades the finished page on title, description, key features, keywords and images among other factors. So it will tell you your images are weak, and then it stops. That is not a flaw, it is the product's scope. Graflio is the piece that fills the gap: paste the same ASIN and get a researched, editable image set.
The short answer is that Jungle Scout does not make listing images, and no amount of searching will turn up a hidden module that does. Its Listing Builder writes text. That is a scope decision, not a failure, and it is why this page is a gap page rather than a takedown: you are not choosing between Jungle Scout and something else, you are working out what to put next to it. Keep the research suite. Change only where the pictures come from.
What Jungle Scout's Listing Builder actually does
Listing Builder is a text tool with a grader attached. AI Assist writes a title, description and key features in one click, drawing on the relevant, competitive keywords you have saved in your Keyword Bank. There is a Listing Optimization Score that rates the page in real time. There is two-way sync with Seller Central, so an approved listing pushes back without copy-paste, and there is auto-save so you do not lose a draft.
Images appear exactly once in that list, as a factor inside the Listing Optimization Score, alongside the title, description, key features and keywords. In other words, Jungle Scout has an opinion about your gallery and no way to act on it. Ask it for images and you get a score.
As of August 2026, Catalyst plans start at $49 a month for Starter and $79 for Growth Accelerator on monthly billing, with additional user seats at $49 a month or $459 a year and annual billing saving up to $360. Jungle Scout's own pricing page publishes the seat and annual-saving figures but does not print a per-plan table; third-party trackers disagree on what the top Brand Owner tier costs, so check that one directly rather than trusting a number you read anywhere, including here.
Why the gap exists
Jungle Scout was built around demand data: what sells, at what price, under which keywords. Every feature it has added since has extended that spine. Images are a different discipline with a different failure mode. A keyword tool's mistakes cost you rank; an image's mistakes cost you the click you already paid for, or a return six weeks later because the buyer misjudged the size.
Helium 10 chose differently and bolted an image generator onto its Listing Builder. Jungle Scout did not, and if you are going to have a module that cannot use your reviews, cannot anchor a callout to a port on the photo and cannot hand you a layered file, there is an argument that not shipping it is the more honest choice.

Where each one wins
Where Graflio wins
- It produces the thing Jungle Scout only grades. Paste an ASIN and you get a researched image plan and then the images.
- The selling argument is derived from your reviews and the category best sellers, with each pain point marked by whether it came from your listing or a rival's.
- Your real pack shot is composited in; generation handles scene and background, not the product itself.
- Every image opens as layers, so a translated set for amazon.de or a corrected claim is an edit, not a regeneration.
- No subscription needed to start: €10 of credits, no card, and a six-image set typically lands between €2 and €6.
Where Jungle Scout wins
- Everything it was built for. Demand estimates, opportunity screening and keyword work are its core and Graflio offers none of it.
- Seller Central sync. Text written in Listing Builder goes live without a copy-paste step; Graflio exports files you upload yourself.
- The score is a genuinely useful second opinion on a finished page, including a nudge when the gallery is thin.
- One vendor, one bill, one login for the whole research half of the job.
- It is honest about its scope. A text tool that does not pretend to design is easier to plan around than one that half-does it.
The workflow that actually works
Run them in sequence rather than in competition. Find the product and validate demand in Jungle Scout. Build the keyword bank and let AI Assist draft the title, bullets and description. Publish the text through the Seller Central sync. Then take the ASIN into Graflio, which reads the live listing, the reviews and the surrounding best sellers, and produces the gallery set on your brand kit. Upload the images, and finally re-run the Listing Optimization Score to see the page graded with the new gallery in place. The handoff point is the ASIN, so nothing is retyped in either direction.
One caution on sequence: if the product is pre-launch and has no reviews of its own, the research pass has less of your own evidence to work with and leans harder on the category. That is workable but weaker, and it applies to any tool that reads listings, Jungle Scout included.
Who should use what
Stay on Jungle Scout alone if your images already exist and convert, or a designer handles them, and what you need is research and rank tracking. Nothing here is a reason to add a second tool.
Add Graflio if the Listing Optimization Score keeps pointing at your gallery, if you are launching several SKUs at once, or if the set will need to exist in more than one marketplace language.
Hire a designer instead if you have one or two hero SKUs, real budget for art direction, and a brand look that does not exist yet. A good freelancer beats any tool on the single defining image, and both tools on this page will still be useful around them.
Fix the photography first if your source images are dark, cluttered or low-resolution. Amazon wants the main image on pure white at RGB 255,255,255, the product filling roughly 85% of the frame and at least 1000px on the longest side so zoom works (1600px or more recommended). No generator, grader or designer rescues a bad original.
Common questions
Is there any way to make images inside Jungle Scout?
No. As of August 2026 there is no published image generation feature in any Catalyst or Cobalt plan. The AI features it does publish write and grade listing text.
Does Graflio replace Jungle Scout's AI Assist?
No. Graflio does not write your title, bullets or description, and does not touch your keyword bank. If you drop Jungle Scout you lose all of that and gain nothing from us in exchange.
Will Jungle Scout's score improve if I add better images?
Images are one of the factors it grades, so a thin gallery is one of the things that can pull the number down. Treat the score as a checklist rather than a target: the point of a better gallery is the conversion rate, not the rating.
Which tool should I buy first with a small budget?
Buy research before design when you have not chosen a product yet, because the wrong product with excellent images still fails. Once the product is chosen and live, the images are usually the cheapest lever left, and Graflio's free €10 of credits lets you test that without a subscription.
This page is written by Graflio, so read our own column with appropriate suspicion. Competitor facts are the vendors’ published information as of August 2026 and change often — check before you buy.
