SellerApp Alternative for Listing Images

The short answer

SellerApp is a diagnostic. Its Listing Quality Index scores a listing from 1 to 100 across ten areas split into Discoverability and Desirability, with image and video count among the Desirability factors, and it flags a weak gallery without producing a better one. Above 85 is good, 40 to 60 is average, below 40 needs work. Keep SellerApp for the dashboard and the PPC. Graflio is the part that turns a low image score into an actual set of images.

SellerApp will tell you your images are the problem. That is genuinely useful and it is also where the software stops. Its Listing Quality Index scores a listing out of 100 across ten critical areas, split between Discoverability and Desirability, and image and video count sits on the Desirability side. You get a number, a colour and a recommendation. What you do not get is a better gallery. This page is about the gap between the diagnosis and the fix, and it starts by conceding that the diagnosis is good.

What SellerApp actually gives you

The Listing Quality Index compares a listing against Amazon's standard practices across ten areas. Discoverability covers whether the product surfaces for the right keywords and is properly indexed. Desirability covers the on-page factors a shopper reacts to: title, bullets, description, and image and video count. SellerApp's own thresholds are clear — above 85 is good, 40 to 60 is average, and below 40 means the listing needs immediate improvement.

Around that sit the parts most sellers actually pay for: product research with an opportunity score, keyword tracking, and PPC automation. As of August 2026 SellerApp publishes a free Freemium tier with no card, a Pro plan from $99 a month, a Smart plan from $149 a month, and custom pricing above that. Managed advertising starts at $750 a month.

There is one more line worth knowing about, because it is the most honest admission in the category. SellerApp sells listing optimisation and creation as a service, quoted from $200 per parent ASIN. That is the company's own answer to "the software found a problem, now what": people, priced per ASIN. It is a real option and for a single flagship listing it may be the right one.

Why a score cannot fix a gallery

A quality index counts images. It cannot tell you that three of your reviews complain the strap frays, that the category leader has a dimension diagram and you do not, or that your fifth image argues a benefit your bullets never claim. Counting is a proxy for arguing, and the proxy breaks exactly where the money is.

That is the design difference. Graflio starts by reading the live listing, its reviews and the surrounding category best sellers, and produces an image plan before rendering anything: pain points marked by whether they came from your reviews or a rival's, USPs grounded in that evidence, and a slot for each image. The score tells you the gallery is thin. The plan tells you what the missing images should say.

Where each one wins

Where Graflio wins

  • It closes the loop. A low Desirability score becomes a finished, on-brand gallery instead of a task on a list.
  • The argument comes from evidence, not from a count: reviews, competitor listings and category best sellers feed the plan.
  • Your real pack shot is composited in, so the product in the image is the product in the box; generation handles scene and background only.
  • Callouts anchor to pixel coordinates, so a line points at the actual seam or port and survives later edits.
  • Per-action pricing: €10 free with no card, then research at 0.1 credit and images at one to three credits each.

Where SellerApp wins

  • The dashboard. For a seller who wants one screen showing research, listing health, keywords and advertising, SellerApp is the better instrument and Graflio is not competing for that screen.
  • PPC automation, which is where most of its value sits and where Graflio offers nothing at all.
  • Objective before-and-after measurement. Scoring the listing before and after an image change gives you a number to argue with.
  • A free tier with no card that lets you diagnose a whole catalogue before spending anything.
  • A done-for-you route: listing optimisation and creation as a managed service from $200 per parent ASIN, when you would rather buy the outcome than the tool.

The workflow that uses both properly

Score first. Run the Listing Quality Index across your catalogue and sort by the number, because that tells you where the work is, and a listing at 38 deserves attention before one at 82. Read the Desirability breakdown rather than the headline score: a listing can be image-poor and still score respectably if the copy is strong.

Then fix the ones the score flags. Paste the ASIN into Graflio, let the research pass read the listing and its reviews, and build the missing images — usually a dimension diagram, a comparison chart or a feature callout set, because those are the images thin galleries lack. Upload, wait for the traffic to accumulate, and re-score. If the number moved and the conversion rate did not, the images were not the constraint, and SellerApp's Discoverability half is the next place to look.

Who should pick what

SellerApp alone if you do not yet know which listings are weak. Diagnosis before treatment is the correct order and the Freemium tier costs nothing.

Both if you run more than a handful of SKUs. The score tells you where to spend and Graflio makes the spending small enough that acting on the whole list is realistic.

SellerApp's managed service instead of us if you have one flagship ASIN, no time, and a preference for buying an outcome. At $200 per parent ASIN with humans attached, that is a defensible purchase for a single listing that matters.

Neither, first, if your main image is non-compliant. Pure white at RGB 255,255,255, product filling roughly 85% of the frame, at least 1000px on the longest side for zoom (1600px or more recommended), and no text, logos or props. A suppressed listing scores badly for a reason no gallery redesign will address.

Common questions

Is Graflio a SellerApp alternative?

Only for the images. SellerApp's research, keyword tracking and PPC automation have no equivalent here, and a seller who cancels an advertising tool to buy an image tool has misread the report.

Does SellerApp check whether my images comply with Amazon's rules?

Its published quality index covers image and video count as a Desirability factor rather than a compliance audit of background colour, frame fill or resolution. Treat main-image compliance as a separate check regardless of which tools you run.

Can I improve the score without new images?

Often yes, because most of the ten graded areas are text and indexing. That is worth knowing before you spend on design: if your Discoverability half is failing, better images will not be found by anyone in the first place.

How long before a new gallery shows up in the numbers?

Long enough that you should not judge it in a weekend. Give the listing enough sessions to be meaningful before comparing conversion rate, and change one thing at a time so the result is attributable. A score can be re-run in seconds; a conclusion cannot.
