DesignLumo Alternative for Amazon Listing Images

The short answer

DesignLumo is a general AI design tool with real layered editing, from $120 a year billed annually. It has no Amazon features: no ASIN or listing import, no reviews read, no dimension or comparison layouts. Note also that it does not publish PSD export — its FAQ lists PNG, JPG and PDF, while Graflio's studio exports PNG, SVG and PSD at 2,160 px. Pick DesignLumo when you already know what each image should say and work across channels; pick Graflio when deciding that is the job.

DesignLumo makes fully editable, layered designs from a prompt — posters, ads, social posts — from $120 a year billed annually. The layers are real and the price is genuinely low. What it has no notion of is Amazon: no ASIN or listing import, no reviews read, no main-image rules, no dimension diagram or comparison grid in the box. If you already know what each of your six gallery images should argue, DesignLumo is cheaper than we are. If deciding that argument is the actual work, it is the wrong tool.

What DesignLumo publishes about itself

Checked against designlumo.com on 13 August 2026. It is an AI design generator and editor for posters, ads and social posts, and its headline promise is that every layer stays editable rather than arriving as a flat generated image. You start from a text description, you can upload your own images and ask for changes, background removal is on every plan, and pasting a website URL extracts a brand kit of colours and type.

Plans, billed annually: Lite at $10 a month ($120 a year) for 30 designs and 300 credits; Pro at $16 a month ($192 a year) for 60 designs, 600 credits, one saved brand kit, SVG and PDF export and all AI models; Business at $39 a month ($468 a year) for 250 designs, 2,000 credits, several saved brands and 30% credit rollover. Annual billing is described as two months free, and you can start free without a card. The features FAQ names the export formats as PNG, JPG and PDF, with 4K on Pro and Business.

The layered PSD claim, corrected

DesignLumo turns up in roundups as the tool that hands you a layered Photoshop file. As of 13 August 2026 its own site does not say that. The features FAQ lists PNG, JPG and PDF; SVG appears as a Pro feature. Layers exist inside the DesignLumo editor, which is the part that matters day to day, but a .psd on delivery is not a published capability. If your agency requires that file, ask DesignLumo before you subscribe.

Graflio's studio does export PSD, alongside PNG and SVG, all at 2,160 px. Be equally precise about ours: one named raster layer per object, so a designer can separate and move things, not retype them. The SVG keeps text as live text, which is the file to open if retyping is the point.

None of which makes editability the dividing line. Both tools keep a design assembled rather than baked. The difference sits upstream.

Where the layout comes from

A DesignLumo design starts with your description. You write the prompt, so you supply the claim, the hierarchy and the wording. That is an excellent arrangement when you already have a brief.

Graflio starts with an ASIN or a listing URL. It reads the live listing, its reviews and the category best sellers, then writes a visible brief — pain points marked by whether they came from your reviews or a competitor's, USPs grounded in that data, an image plan — before anything is rendered. Your real product photograph is composited into the scenes rather than a lookalike being generated, and the set opens in a layer studio where callouts stay anchored to coordinates on the product. We have not found another tool that anchors callouts to the photo that way, though we make no claim about the market as a whole.

Neither approach is better in the abstract. With a brand, a copywriter and a decided message, a prompt is a faster interface than a research pass you were going to overrule anyway.

Where Graflio wins

  • The brief. Reviews and competitor listings decide the claims, and you can see why.
  • Your real product photo is composited, not re-imagined by a model.
  • Callouts anchored to pixels on the product, so a claim points at the part it describes.
  • Amazon-shaped image types: dimensions, comparison charts, box contents, step sequences.
  • Output in Spanish, English, German, French and Italian for the EU marketplaces.

Where DesignLumo wins

  • Price. $120 a year is below one month of our entry plan.
  • 4K export against our 2,160 px studio ceiling.
  • PDF output, which matters the moment anything goes to print.
  • Several saved brands on Business; we allow one brand kit per account, full stop.
  • Everything outside Amazon — posters, banners, social — which we barely touch.

What a set of six images costs on each

On Graflio, research costs 0.1 credit and a finished image costs one to three credits depending on the model, so a six-image set lands between €2 and €6, and the first €10 of credits needs no card. Monthly plans run €49.99 to €499.99 if you would rather buy in bulk.

On DesignLumo, Lite is $10 a month billed annually for 30 designs and 300 credits. The site does not publish how many credits one design consumes, and designs and credits are counted separately, so measure your own rate on the free tier before committing to twelve months. Across hundreds of assets a flat fee wins on arithmetic; for one listing's gallery, per-credit pricing is smaller than either subscription.

Which to pick

Pick DesignLumo if your visual work spans channels, you already have the message, you need print-ready PDF, or you manage several brands and want them saved side by side. It is a general design tool at a general design tool's price, and no Amazon-shaped tool will match that range.

Pick Graflio if the hard part is deciding what six images should say about one product, if you want that reasoning traceable back to reviews and competitors, and if you need the layouts that do the selling: measured dimension diagrams, comparison grids, what is in the box.

Run both if you sell on Amazon and elsewhere. That is the common case.

Neither tool checks compliance for you: Graflio has no compliance checker and DesignLumo does not claim one. Your main image still has to be a real photograph on pure white (RGB 255,255,255), product filling roughly 85% of the frame, at least 1,000 px on the longest side to trigger zoom and 1,600 px or more recommended. The image requirements reference covers the rest.

Common questions

Does DesignLumo export layered PSD files?

Its own site does not say so. As of 13 August 2026 the DesignLumo features FAQ lists PNG, JPG and PDF, with 4K export on Pro and Business, and SVG appears as a Pro plan feature. Designs are layered and editable inside DesignLumo's own editor. If you specifically need a .psd handover file, ask them before subscribing.

How much does DesignLumo cost?

Billed annually as of 13 August 2026: Lite $10 a month, $120 a year, for 30 designs and 300 credits. Pro $16 a month, $192 a year, for 60 designs and 600 credits. Business $39 a month, $468 a year, for 250 designs and 2,000 credits. Annual billing is described as two months free, and there is a free start with no card.

Can DesignLumo import an Amazon listing?

No. Pasting a URL into DesignLumo extracts a brand kit of colours and fonts from a website. It does not read an ASIN, a listing's bullets or its reviews, and the site publishes no Amazon-specific features or templates.

Is DesignLumo cheaper than Graflio?

Per month, yes: $120 a year on Lite is less than one month of our €49.99 plan. Per listing at low volume, not necessarily, because Graflio bills per action rather than per seat. A six-image set costs €2 to €6 in credits and the first €10 requires no card.

Which one produces higher resolution?

DesignLumo, on published figures: 4K on Pro and Business. Graflio generates gallery images at 1,024 px and exports up to 2,160 px from the studio. 1,024 px clears Amazon's 1,000 px floor for zoom but sits below the 1,600 px Amazon recommends, so export from the studio for anything going on a detail page.
