Venngage Alternative for Amazon Listing Images

The short answer

Venngage is a strong general infographic tool with 10,000+ templates and 40,000+ icons, and it beats us outright on data visualisation and anything headed for a report or a deck. It loses on Amazon because its templates are tall, dense and slow-read, while a gallery image is square, sparse and judged at 400 px. Graflio derives the argument from your listing and reviews, composites your real product photo, and applies Amazon's main-image rules at render.

Venngage makes infographics. Amazon listing images are also called infographics. The two share a word and almost nothing else. A Venngage infographic is built to be read for thirty seconds on a desktop report or a slide; an Amazon gallery image is built to be understood in about two seconds on a 400 px phone thumbnail. If you build the first and upload it as the second, it will be illegible, and no template library fixes that.

What Venngage is genuinely good at

Venngage advertises over 10,000 templates and more than 40,000 icons, and the library is the real product. For a statistical report, a process diagram, a timeline, an internal comms one-pager or a comparison chart destined for a deck, it is a fast and competent tool with an unusually good icon set. Its charting is stronger than most general design tools, because charts are what the format is for.

Pricing, as published in August 2026: a free plan capped at 5 designs, public sharing only and 6 image uploads; Premium at $19 a month, or $10 a month billed annually, which adds unlimited designs, private sharing and HD PNG export; Business at $49 per user per month, or $24 annually, which is where brand kits, folders, team sharing and PDF and PowerPoint export arrive; Enterprise from $499 a month for a minimum of ten members.

Two details matter for Amazon sellers. Brand kits sit on Business, not Premium, so keeping a catalogue visually consistent starts at $24 per user per month at best. And export below Business is PNG only, which is fine for Amazon, since Amazon accepts JPEG, PNG, TIFF and GIF.

The format mismatch, in specifics

Venngage does let you set a custom page size in pixels, so nothing stops you making a 2000 x 2000 px canvas. The problem is not the canvas, it is everything the templates assume about it. Infographic templates are tall, dense and text-heavy by design, because they are meant to be scrolled or printed. Amazon gallery images are square, sparse and read at thumbnail scale first.

A working rule for Amazon: one idea per image, a headline of roughly three to seven words that is legible when the image is 400 px wide, and supporting detail that only has to survive the zoom view. Almost every infographic template you will find inverts that ratio. Adapting one is not a five-minute retitle, it is a rebuild in which the template contributes the icons and nothing else.

The rules Venngage has no reason to know

Venngage is not an Amazon tool and does not pretend to be, so nothing in it enforces Amazon's requirements. They are worth stating exactly: the main image sits on pure white (RGB 255,255,255), the product fills roughly 85% of the frame, the longest side should reach 1,600 px to be comfortably zoom-eligible (Amazon's stated floor is 1,000 px), and no text, logo, watermark, border or prop may appear on it. Text is permitted from the second image onwards. Fail any of those on the main image and the listing can be suppressed until you fix it.

Nor does a template library know your product. It cannot tell you that your reviews complain about the strap fraying, that the bestseller above you wins on battery and loses on weight, or that four of the top five listings in your category use slot four for a dimension diagram. That is the decision that actually determines whether a listing set converts, and no icon set contains it.

Where each one wins

Where Graflio wins

  • Starts from an ASIN or listing URL and derives the brief from the live listing, its reviews and the category best sellers
  • Composites your real product photograph rather than dropping it into a generic layout
  • Callouts anchor to coordinates on the photo, so the line still points at the right part after an edit
  • Amazon main-image constraints applied at render time
  • Brand kit on every plan, and the same layout re-renders in another marketplace language

Where Venngage wins

  • Template and icon breadth: 10,000+ templates, 40,000+ icons, none of which we try to match
  • Data visualisation. If your image needs a real chart from real numbers, Venngage handles it better
  • Everything off Amazon: reports, decks, one-pagers, internal comms
  • A genuinely cheap individual tier at $10 a month billed annually
  • You can start with no product photo at all, which we cannot

What Graflio costs, and where it stops

Graflio starts with €10 of credits and no card. Paid plans are €49.99, €199.99 and €499.99 a month for 150, 875 and 2,850 credits. Research costs 0.1 credit and a finished image costs one to three credits depending on the render model, so a six-image set is roughly two to six credits, about €0.70 to €2 at the entry tier. Every image opens in a layer editor, so a headline stays text and a callout stays an object you can move.

The honest limits: Graflio is Amazon-shaped and close to useless for a report or a slide. The research pass needs a live listing with reviews, so a pre-launch product has to borrow its category's data instead of its own. And it does not do proper data visualisation. If your listing image genuinely needs a plotted chart rather than a comparison table, build that chart somewhere else and bring it in.

Which to pick

  1. Is the output going on an Amazon listing? If no, Venngage is likely the better tool and this page is not for you.
  2. Do you know what each image should argue? If yes, any competent editor works, Venngage included. If no, a template library will not tell you.
  3. How many SKUs? One or two, adapting Venngage templates by hand is defensible. Past ten, per-image consistency and per-image cost decide it.
  4. Do you need charts from real data? That is Venngage's home ground. Use it, then bring the chart into your listing set.

Common questions

Can I use Venngage for Amazon listing images?

You can. Set a custom 2000 x 2000 px page, strip the template down to a single idea, and check the main image separately since it must be pure white with no text at all. Expect to rebuild rather than retitle: infographic templates are designed to be read slowly, and Amazon images are read at thumbnail size in about two seconds.

How much does Venngage cost?

As published in August 2026: a free plan limited to 5 designs, Premium at $19 a month or $10 a month billed annually, Business at $49 per user per month or $24 annually, and Enterprise from $499 a month for at least ten members. Brand kits and PDF or PowerPoint export start at the Business tier.

Does Venngage know Amazon's image rules?

No, and it does not claim to. Venngage is a general infographic tool, so main-image compliance, frame fill, resolution and the text ban on the primary image are entirely your responsibility. Check every image against Amazon's requirements before uploading.

Is Graflio better than Venngage for infographics?

Only for Amazon listing infographics. For a report, a slide deck, a data-heavy chart or an internal one-pager, Venngage is the better and cheaper choice, and we would not try to talk you out of it.
