soona Alternative for Amazon Listing Images

The short answer

soona is not really an alternative to Graflio; it is the step before it. soona photographs your physical product in a real studio, which no generator can match, and charges $39 per photo with no design work included. Graflio turns finished photographs into a researched, editable listing set. If you have no usable photography, book soona first. If you already have clean frames, paying $39 each for more of them will not fix a gallery that fails to argue anything.

Sellers search for a soona alternative and usually mean one of two different things: a cheaper way to get product photographs, or a way to get the listing images soona does not make. Those need different answers. soona is a real photo studio with real lights and a real photographer, priced at $39 per selected image. Nothing generated matches that for a physical object. What soona does not sell is the design layer on top: the callouts, the dimension diagram, the comparison chart. That is the gap Graflio fills, and the two fit together rather than compete.

What soona actually sells, at the published price

As listed on soona.co in August 2026: $39 per photo and $93 per video clip, charged only for the assets you select after the shoot. A one-off booking carries a $149 studio pass fee. Basic membership is $13 a month billed annually and waives that fee; Standard is $49 a month billed annually and adds free premium edits, free video add-ons and 24-hour delivery instead of 48 or 72. Premium edits are $9 each on the lower tiers, a video pro edit is $99, and video add-ons such as music, graphics or text are $49 each. Full-body models are $159 an hour, hand models $79, stylists $149, and UGC creators $89 per video.

Those numbers are worth reading carefully, because the interesting one is $39. A seven-image Amazon gallery shot at soona, with a premium edit on each frame, is roughly $336 plus the studio fee or a membership. That is not expensive for studio photography. It is also not a listing set yet.

The thing no generator can do

This is the concession, and it is not a small one. A physical product photographed under controlled lighting by someone who has shot two thousand products has specular highlights, edge definition, material texture and colour accuracy that no image model reproduces from a description. Fabric weave, brushed metal, the way a matte powder coat kills reflection, the exact translucency of a plastic lid: these fail in generated imagery in ways buyers register even when they cannot name them. If your only asset is a supplier JPEG shot on a factory floor, or three phone photos, then every downstream tool inherits that ceiling, including ours.

So the honest advice for anyone with no usable photography is: book the shoot. Then come back for the design.

Where the workflow actually breaks

soona's own service lines are photography, video, UGC and post-production. Post-production covers background removal, colour changes and text addition. It does not cover infographic or A+ module design, and as of August 2026 soona does not sell that as a service. soona even publishes a step-by-step guide to Amazon infographics on its blog, which tells you where the demand is and where the offering stops.

That matters because an Amazon gallery is not a set of photographs. Slot one is a compliance object: pure white at RGB 255,255,255, product filling around 85% of the frame, at least 1000px on the longest side so zoom activates (1600px or more recommended), no text, logos or props. Slots two through seven are an argument. They carry the size chart that stops the return, the compatibility matrix, the what-is-in-the-box count, the callout pointing at the seam a reviewer complained about. You leave a soona shoot with excellent raw material for those images and none of the images themselves.

All figures are the vendors' published list prices as of 13 August 2026. soona publishes no European studio, which is the practical blocker for most sellers reading this in Spanish, German or French: the product has to cross the Atlantic, clear customs and come back, before anything is photographed.

Where Graflio wins

  • It reads the live listing, its reviews and the surrounding best sellers, so the images argue something specific rather than looking nice.
  • Output opens as layers. A price change, a legal rewording or a fourth marketplace language is a text edit, not a reshoot.
  • Callouts anchor to coordinates on the photo, so the line still points at the port after you move the headline.
  • No shipping, no booking window, no customs. Relevant if you are outside the United States.
  • €10 of credits free with no card, and a finished image costs one to three credits.

Where soona wins

  • Real photography of a real object. This is not close, and it is the whole reason the company exists.
  • Video. Graflio does not produce video at all; soona charges $93 a clip and has UGC creators at $89.
  • Human art direction live on the shoot, with a stylist available at $149 an hour.
  • Models, hands and props, which matter for apparel, beauty and anything demonstrated in use.
  • You only pay for the frames you pick, which is a genuinely fair pricing model for a service business.

The decision rule

Ask what you are missing. If the answer is pictures of my product, no software fixes that and you should book a studio, soona or a local equivalent. If the answer is images that explain my product, another $39 frame does not help; you need the design and the research on top of the frames you already have.

Most catalogues sit in the second case. Suppliers ship photography with the goods, and the seller's real problem is that seven slots are filled with seven angles of the same box. If you are launching one hero SKU and can afford both, do both: shoot it properly, then build the set from those frames. If you are running forty SKUs, shooting all of them at $39 an image is a five-figure decision, and using existing photography for the long tail while shooting only your top sellers is the version of this that survives a budget review.

Common questions

Is soona a competitor to Graflio?

Not really. soona produces real photographs and video of your physical product; Graflio builds infographics from photographs you already have. They sit at different points in the same workflow, and most soona customers still need something to turn the frames into a gallery that explains the product.

How much does soona cost?

As published in August 2026: $39 per photo, $93 per video clip, a $149 studio pass per booking without a membership, and memberships at $13 or $49 a month billed annually. You pay only for the assets you select after the shoot.

Does soona design Amazon infographics?

It publishes guides on the subject, but its services are photography, video, UGC and post-production editing. As of August 2026 it does not sell infographic or A+ module design.

Can I use soona from Europe?

Its three published studios are in Austin, Denver and Minneapolis, and you can attend any shoot remotely, but there is no European studio. Shipping, customs and lead time all land on you before the first frame is taken.

Do I still need a photoshoot if I use Graflio?

You need at least one clean, sharp, correctly lit photograph of the real product, because Graflio composites that photograph rather than inventing the product. Supplier photography is often good enough. A blurry phone shot is not, and no amount of design rescues it.
